My 308 had nicks and dings all around (bought it that way) so it was time to have it redone all over. As one of my neighbours put it (who lost his beefed up Del Sol in the water): "You just got the 35k value paint job". And yes I will feel guilty once I'll put my car back. Many of its 'friends' have left for good. I don't fear Horsefly's shopping cart too much though: Once you take the plunge and have the whole car repainted, you lost your 'virginity' and painting it again isn't such a big decision anymore. But looking at it now, I have no regrets (aside from the insane luck with the water). |

Andreas, you know that you will eventually have to pay for your good fortune. Some day you will be parked in a large parking lot. A shopping cart that is parked 100 yards away will slowly start rolling toward your car, picking up speed as it goes. You know the rest of the story! |

This morning a water pipe flooded the entire garage of our building and ruined about 10 very nice cars. My little 308 spent the night at a paint shop. Is that luck or what? Enzo must have looked out for his flock. |
