BOY IT SURE WOULD HAVE BEEN LESS COSTLY IN TIME AND MONEY TO JUST PAY OFF DUDLEY DORIGHT. BUT ANYWAY HAVE FUN AND STAY OUT OF THE RIVER. IT HAS BEEN HOT AS HELL DOWN HERE I'M SURE HAPPY MY A/C WORKS WELL. |

Hello everyone, after buying a car with no emission equiptment on it ,the Province of Ontario Canada now has testing for cars up to 20 years old !!! What a pain in the butt!!! I had to remove my Euro exhaust system locate an EGR valve, Diverter Valve,Air pump, 2 Catalytic converters,plumbing,etc,etc,get a new OEM style exhaust to accept the Cats,....located every thing, took me 2 years, Made up my own cats using universal cats,even made the fittings for the overheat cat probes, installed it all, went down to the local test depot., reset my fuel injection with my gas anaylizer to factory specs...check out these results:
HC ppm LIMIT 114 READING 21
CO% LIMIT 0.63 READING .04
NO ppm LIMIT 1451 READING 152
RPM DURING TEST ON DYNO:2197 RPM
this car has 42,000 miles on it and it sure runs clean , I think that the new universal cats sure soak up a lot of the bad emmisions,. It was either park the car for a year,wait for it to be 20 years old, or do all this work and enjoy driving it this summer......I'm going to enjoy driving it !!!! Have a great one....Ang |
