5,500 miles on my car, but it is the less desirable Euro car. So far I have had not one problem, and the only money I have spent on the car is a Tubi, painted challenge grille, and the TSI carbon engine panels. Car is a joy. |

Dr. John Scottsdale Ferrari replaced my AC switch ( it was stuck in the on position) The service manager did mention that the entire panel would have to be replaced. I never did ask if him if he replaced the entire panel. The total time for the job was less than 18 minutes. I'm shocked if that cost $1k. There's only 2 screws to remove. If the car had not been under warranty I would have tried to do it myself. |

God this is a broken record. My car is in Houston getting the computer for the transmission rebooted. It was jumping into nuetral (sound familiar) when in auto mode. I had the lines bled, which made it jump into neutral less often. Hopefully reprogramming the computer will solve. 4800 miles. AC switch also stuck on. FOH said they would have to replace the whole panel ($1K). I have read other threads that say they just replace the switch. No problems with fuel gauge-yet. Atleast I have my 88 Yugo as a backup. Do they always reboot the computer as part of the 5K mile service? John |

I use the sport mode when the roads are clear of traffic and alway on the twisty backroads. Gotta switch back to normal when the road surfaces get too rough or going back into traffic. The suspension is pretty stiff and the steering become pretty tight in sport mode. But once you get used to it, normal mode feels a little "sloppy". Wait until you start shifting near the redline. After your break-in period, lower your windows (or top) then let it rip! The sound is pure music!

Willis and Van, have you guys used the Sport Mode? My car is still in the break-in period and I haven't gone over 5k rpms when I shift. The manual says the Sport Mode is best used at over 7k rpms. Is there really a big difference in the Sport Mode? The car has been serviced for a broken AC switch. |

Hehehe, high mileage at 5500 miles? No A/C switch problem. Never used the CD player in the car. No alarm light problem. Had the main computer and instrument panel replaced (computer failed while mechanics were doing regular service). The new panel shows proper fuel level now. I think the problem was the improper calibration in the gauge. F1 dropping to neutral (see Tech section on this site). On my car, this was traced to a leaky seal that contaminated the friction disc. Disc was replaced and new seal installed. This problem developed after crossing the 12K mile threshold. Lower mileage 360 owners should keep an eye out for this. Just in case. Got an annoying squeak from the belts. The car's at the dealer now to be checked out. Other than that, the car's great fun to drive.
