I know that locally, the wait list in terms of time is the same for coupes and spyders. They get 3 spyders for each coupe and that's about how their orders are running. Both lists extend well beyond the expected production of 360's, so most will get the next model. I figure if Ferrari sells just coupes of the new model at first and the spyder later, then the wait for a coupe will be shorter. In any event, if you want to be the first to title a 360, you will have to get someone's spot in line. Dave |

Your order will get rolled into the next model or modificato if production changes over, so I suspect your analysis is right. Modenas have been well below list for several months in the UK, with spyders just starting to fall below the list price point; that's the sticker price, not what you'll end up paying either. |

I recently saw this posted under the description of a 2002 360 F1 Coupe on eBay: "With a waiting list longer than the model is projected to run, Ferrari dealers are not even taking deposits on new 360s, making this delivery mile car virtually impossible to duplicate." Is this true?! I thought the waiting lists were only for the 360 Spyder. It seems that the low-mileage, pre-owned 360's on eBay are going for way less than sticker so I think the statement is just a marketing gimmick. Regards. |
