Matt: the tyres were regular street tyres, I'm saying were because there is very little left in them now... The guy driving the F50 is a very nice chap, after our run he came to me and told me that I was quicker than the 993 GT2 Clubsport he lapped with previously. If he only knew I had completely finished my pads when I lapped with him... In fact I have also damaged the front discs during these laps. But it was worth it! I have no idea what the equipment on the car is, it's all installed by a friend of mine, I'll ask him. Track was dry, bit cold though. Happy you enjoyed the clips, more will come as soon as I replace the front discs and get the baby back to the track!

For those who want to see what kind of hand movements are required to catch an F360* as it goes into a wild drift--watch the second movie (83MB) at time periods: 5:03, 5:37, and 7:39. Notice the correction, the wait for the car to catch up, then the recovery. Nicely done! *and by implication F348s and F355s |

Luigi, Great job on the footage. That F-50 sure can accelerate. Nice 360 also. You made that porshe look like it was standing still. Do you happen to know the owner of the F-50? Seems as if he was taking it easy on the car. Once again thanks. Matt |

Is that you driving Luigi ?? It's just so awesome Keeping up with that F50, and then in the end just a bit playing, you must have had the time of your live right ? And taking over those P-cars, not bad :D Love this kinda of movies, if you have more be sure to post them over here.

Awesome videos Luigi, thanks. Man you Italians have it right, racing around Monza in a 360 wearing normal clothes. I have a limited knowledge of track days in the U.S., but it seems to me they would make you wear fire proof suits, helmets, etc over here. Very cool. |

Great stuff Luigi....nothing like nice slippery (street?) tires to keep things interesting. Seems like the track was a bit cold (possibly wet) as well. I have heard of that in car video system you have. Can you tell me who makes it, as well as what model it is? How much it costs would be great as well. Im thinking of putting a live video feed of a data acquisition system in my car, and this video feed would be awesome. |

Just wachted the first movie. Can't believe you are able to keep up with the F50 so well! Must be driver skill over car performance here. The power your lacking versus the f50 is being made up by your driving compared to the guy in the f50.... am I right ? Cause I find it hard to believe a 360 comes this close to an f50 in terms of track times. |
