Well not really in production, but I would like to see a F50 being put to use racing.

I would love to see the 288GTO reincarnated...to me it is the most beautiful of all Ferraris, though the 250 GTO and the F-40 are pretty cool...too. Heck, all Ferraris are cool looking and in their own way fun to see..but those three, they are something special. Heck, Ferrari will sell them for 385,000 or more, so who will ever afford them? The same guys who own the real models now...

JRV, You are correct! I would love to see it.
A modern version of this car:
250LM
with the new Enzo technology, WOW!
Although I would rather have the 6-speed gated shift than the F1 shift, but either way it would be great!
Would it be the 600LM (6 liter)? or the 500LM (500cm/cylinder)? or 612LM (6 liter 12 cylinders)?

I've almost posted several times with 'my pic', but each time I couldn't quite pull the trigger, Ferrari has made so many great cars. However, one of the coolest cars they ever made and would likely be a hit today like it was then is:>>>

250 LM.......<<my pic!!!!

I would like to see a new style 250GTO built on the 575M chassis, like the picture below, and also a 250TR built on the 575M chassis with a cut-down convertible windshield.

Not a production car but I like the 365 Tre Posti. But don't build it too much like a McLaren F1.

"A 308 with a 355 engine and 300 pounds less weight! "

Throw in the F355 binders as well - and I'll take one.

A 308 with a 355 engine and 300 pounds less weight!

A 365 GTB with the F60 motor (or F50 motor in a pinch)

A 365 BB with the transmission BEHIND (not under)the motor and 5 valve heads, titanium con rods,...

Would love to see a return of the 246 Dino. Still one of Pininfarina's best. How about a new one to sit next to Enzo?

I like David Smith's idea. I mid 12 tr barchetta type maybe. To me the new ferraris don't look like ferraris at all. All round, bulbus and non descript. The front of the 550 I love, but the rest of the styles need to GO!

How about a 512TR Barchetta F1? More titainium and carbon components with a lower center of drive train gravity. It could be the detuned ragtop Enzo for thoes who didn't qualify to get one.

If not, just bring back the mid engine 12cyl layout. It lends itself well to my favorite Pininfarina styles.

Im thinking a modern 308. The 360 is huge, its time for a small 8 cylinder car, only with the 360 engine, which i would guess is lighter than the 308's engine.

Something open top like the original TRs. There was one bodies by Venuzzi or something like that, it was designed to prevent the inherent lift of the pontoon fenders. I would like that car with the 6spd transaxle of the 575MM, coupled to the engine of the Enzo. Now that would be a car. And no airbags, cushioning, or any of that other pansy stuff. It'd be running like 2000-2500lb, 700hp (no emissions stuff, work it a little), 6spd manual, throw the rims and brakes off the F50 on it, it would be a monster, totally uncontrollable, it would be perfect.

308, Daytona, 250 GTO, 288 GTO. F-40 and the 512BB. But in the typical Ferrari fashion, they would sell for astronomical prices. Would you pay $120,000 for an updated 308?

A new GTO would be pretty spify. I'd like the 6000cc Enzo unit in there...

As for a new 308... there are so many things that can be done... How about a new motor... a 575M block with 4 cylinders choped off.

A new Testarossa! Flat 12... 5500cc 10,000 RPMs... based on the Enzo...

As much as I LOVE the 250GTO, I think I'd rather the 166 Inter 2+2. Its smoothe lines seem more fitting for todays roads then the GTO...

I would love to see an updated 308 put out. More power would be the main thing. With the trend towards retro I think they could sell as many as they cared to make.

OOOOOOOOO Heck yea. I want two, a 575GTO with all the modern running gear but kept a bare bones lightweight rocket, AND I want a 290MM done the same way. 1800lb and 475hp anyone. The only problem is you would either have to run wider tires or the car would be hopelessly incapable of putting the power down.

How about a Daytona... look exactly the same except have power steering, better AC and some other power options and more engine.

1962-64 250 GTO. I want them to use the 575 engine, 6 speed, race interior, no options, and any color you want, as long as it's red.

Ever have a dream that your favorite F-car of the past might one day go back into production?

I know this will never happen but I always wonder what would happen if Ferrari would consider taking one of their classic cars of past glory days and redesign/re-engineer them for a new limited production run.

Everyone has their favorite(s). Personally, I would love to ponder the possibility of a NEW 308/328. It would take advantage of the aluminum chassis technology being used on the 360's. That would save hundreds of pounds because they would be able to dispose of that tube steel frame. They could make the car an inch or two wider and taller. Then, I was thinking, why not drop in the new Maserati engine? I can't imagine how fast this 308/328 could be!! Also, while we're at it, why not upsize those gorgeous QV wheels to 18 inches and put on some wider rubber? For the interior, maybe just trade in those Fiat switches for something a little more modern. They could offer a gated 6 speed or an F1 box with airbags, ABS and traction control.

As for the exterior, well...it was great then and still is now, so leave it alone!! :-)

Economically, I don't know what the existence of a NEW 308/328 would do for the original cars' value. It would be interesting, though...

So, what do you folks think?
