On the subjuect of rappers with 360's Anybody see the MTV show cribs last night? A guy named Fat Joe has a new Titainium 360 Spyder in his garage. He openly admitted that he has never driven the car as he is too big to fit behind the wheel. Talk about wasted talent. | ||

Bret, I agree. It's a waste of time posting this for mMillionaire7fig (Therichblackguy) or whoever he is. I do think some of these rappers have what you call "flavor" which I take it as taste. I do like a lot of there cars and am not as you would say "hating the player and not the game". I play golf out at English Turn here in New Orleans where Cash Money has a house. From a couple of the holes you can sometimes see some of their cars parked out in front of their house. Therichblackguy, you got me, I sit around wishing I was black, watching BET so I can some how be closer to the 13% of the country which I idol. I also have an older Ferrari and a Jeep, both cars that obviously show how much I want to be black, I mean you see them all the time in Harlem. Although if I was black I could probably get the government to start paying for my Ferrari and stop working myself. You like making some stereotypes, it's a two way street, just remember that. Therichblackguy does hit a point though, 80% of rap CDs are bought by white teenages in middle income families, kind of ridiculous, but I guess looking up to gangbangers really isn't so bad for this nation's youth... With a name like yours I don't even know why I'm answering you to be honest. | ||

I'm not all about originality as most cars from the factory aren't tailored to my personal taste. However, you don't always have to top the Prussians with ostentatious chrome and GUCCI radioflyers. If I were rolling in it, I'd have to modify any/every car, not sure chrome or such things lie on the horizon, but none of my cars would be 'original'; well, maybe the vintage 'collection', but even then most of the classics arent 100% original either. | ||

Guy i like is the collector of the American muscle cars (the garage that works on 'em is nearby). He correctly complains that just going out and buying a bentley or whatever is lame, and that the real thing about the cars is expressing your taste. Most of us in ferrariland insist on originality of manufacture, not originality of post-manufacture design. But if i were really hopping in the dough, i'd probably own some way out stuff (eg. pre-war Bentley 8 litre "special"; one of those wacky, cowboyized caddies by whazziname, the cowboy clothing designer;a decapitated citroen D; and other "funky" stuff which some would regard as completely weird, but not entirely tasteless. (alright, the cowboy car may be a bit much...). | ||

personally, I don't care what people do to their own cars; if 20 inch chrome wheels are what you crave, cool. however, cars of this caliber -ferrari, porsche, bmw m series, etc.- are meant to be driven, tracked, and (ab)used; doing donuts and boulevard pimpin' -doug hayashi TM- is best done in a bently, rolls, MB sedan, or the mega can-o-••••, an SUV. | ||

the CashMoney crew uses their own cars in the videos and Baby from CashMoney no longer owns 50 cars. He sold his bentleys and lambos and other exotics, he just signed a $100mill contract so he is more interested in houses and G4s..the Master P gucci ferrari is the ugliest thing you could do to a ferrari but i guess w/ all that money he just likes to do whatever. | ||

This is probably my first & last post for a very long time. but Had to comment. 1st off: Master P gucci Ferrari costed him roughly 400k. Whats better than an Italian ferrari mobile. Dipped in More italian fine wear. aka. the Gucci. clothes inside & out of that ferrari. 2. Tom from Canada. You're right. Some of these rapper guys rent cars for their videos because they dont want their personal cars to catch knicks & small dents while on the set. Also Tom. One rapper from Cash Money Millionaires. Owns 50 cars. & in my opinion that ferrari is beautiful. Matt & James I respect you guys still if you think these rappers turn already nice cars ugly. But in my opinion. these guys arent square & they have flavor. & the means. So they cant complain only you. & 3. BretM stop lying you know you sit around & watch BET. rememmber guys lots of these cars that you see in these video's are not the rapper's cars some are but most are not. They rent them from car dealerships or people loan them to the production studio for a hefty price. We do this at our shop..LL cooljay, Bust-a-rims etc. Just reacently rented a s500AMG to Robert Deniro so he could cruise in style up here in Canada. | ||

I had the pleasure(I use the term loosely) of watching another Master P video today. They had a McLaren F1 and a Diablo 6.0 with chrome wheels in a parking lot with a bunch of people standing around them. The doors were open on the Diablo with 2 people sitting inside of it. All of the sudden, the Diablo starts doing donuts with the doors open, as the passenger was rapping as the car was in motion. Then, 2 355 spiders start doing the same thing (each with zebra skin interior), as the passengers in each car continue a verse or two for the remainder of the song. It's crazy. These rap dudes like blowing their money on making nice cars ugly, and then they abuse the hell outta them. | ||

It is without question the ugliest thing I have ever seen, in no small part because the car is so beautiful to begin with. A beetle might not look so bad in that hideous color, but a Modena? There should be laws and morals against such crimes. | ||

Anybody seen the rapper Master P's custom yellow 360? Think I saw it in FHM, Stuff or Maxim magazines, cant remember. Somebody has to post a photo of it. Wait till you see the Gucci logos all over the entire car. Very flashy! |
