HaHaHa!!!...don't worry, a carreer in this biz can easily cost you a house and a wife or two..

;-)...

Books are very important, my book collection goes back to the early 60's. Practical experience in a classroom is also valuable. And of course the 'real world' experience is what hones the skill to a nice sharp edge. The saying goes, "Engineers build their mistakes, but Mechanics can cure them."

No this is fine, I'm just trying to think if I should quit my job, leave my wife, and move to Houston.

I'm in my fifth class at Brookhaven auto tech department. Hopefully my shop is built by early next year. I don't think a book or class can teach me what I want to learn. There must be a thousand little tricks that only experience can pass on.

Good lord I wish you were in Dallas or I lived in Houston! I saw you guys talking about selling your shop a few days back. I would love to own something like that, but I don't know much about F-cars mechanically. Mustangs,Camaros and Vettes were what I grew up on. If I were rich I would work with you for free!

Busy exotic car shop in Houston, Tx. looking for helper/apprentice/journeyman to learn the ropes on Ferrari/Lamborghini/Porsche.

Good ground level oppurtunity to learn for the right person. Prior experience not the most important factor. The ability to Listen is.
