the 456 is a lot of fun in the twisties. i think the bigger issue is just the cars weight overall. however, the nice thing about the car is that, unlike some of the other similar weighted cars (for example the sl 600), you can't tell it's heavy. it accelerates pretty well and the suspension is rather tight. even under heavy braking, while the car will pitch it's not nearly as much as some of these other supposed 4k+ lbs sports cars.

Autoweek recently suggested that the 456's lack of proper weight distribution has an adverse effect on it's handling. Slalom speed (62.8 mph in Road & Track) was no better than the WRX. Would the 456 really be fun through the twisties?
