i got the tubi exhaust, the tubi test pipes, and the tubi air filters. I originally wanted to do the test pipes for the sounds but now I have learned that they will also make a big difference on keeping the headers running cool...seesm that even the high flow cats build alot of extra un-needed heat... |

Ricky, if you remove the cats make sure to get a test pipe with a O2 sensor housing. If you put the O2s back in the light will not come on. By disconnecting it will come on and read as a failior. On your 355 the test pipes will likely not do much for performance. You have already free-flow CATS. Sounds better though! Will you also put a TUBI on as a muffler? If you have not ordered them yet check with Tino, one of our sponsors for the Tubi and if you want a non-Tubi test pipe e-mail me and I will send you to the guy who did mine. Cheaper than Tubi. |

Ricky, Nope, your car is OBD1 - 96 or older- you won't have a check engine light. However, if your car is newer than '96, even some of the late '96 cars were OBD2, then removal of the cats will cause a CEL; regardless, a CEL triggered by the 2ndary O2 sensors won't affect engine performance, but will mask any other problems. |

Not unless you remove the oxygen sensors. |
