They should make it available for all cars. They would still turn a profit no matter what. Most f-cars just sit anyway. |

I looked at these warranties, to try and understand how the company makes its money. 1st they only want to write up cars after 1997. Quality has improved a lot in the 90's and they won't look at older cars that could realy use some help like this. I don't remember what they wanted... $5k maybe? it might have been a little more, I can't remember now, but it was a good hit. It felt like they were basicaly covering their ass for the first repair right there. From a mathamatic point of view, seems they figured... if one of three cars might need a big reapair... they could cover the cost and still make a profit. Giving owners a peace of mind for spreading the risk amoung multiple owners. Good idea or bad? Hard to tell? |

What are the terms of the warranties? Can you put one on a grey-market car? Does the company pay the shop for the repairs, or do you pay and then have to submit a bill and negotate with someone for reimbursement? (It has been my experience that in the latter case, the warranty company rarely pays the claim.) |

After Market Warranties are now availible for certian Ferrari's, Lamborghini's, Porsche's up to 5 years old. Call or email for covered yrs, makes, models, details, pricing.
