stick shift or not to stick- ihave owned a 328-348-355 all stick-the 355 i loved the most-i was a stick shift die hard-when i picked up my 355 in 95-the dealer had a 355 f1 0n the lot- i drove it and some what enjoyed it-for track eventa you can't beat it -driving in the city is a breeze-i can even drive with a cup of coffee-went to ferrari of ontario to have my oil changed -they had a new 360 stick shift that they had to make an adjustment to the shifting linkage -would not shift in higher gears-also had a tubi-they took me for a ride-the f1 is much quicker and smoother when it comes to shifting-ilove the f1-it has been refined in the last 5 years and is a joy to drive-would i go back -i don't think so -this is just my opinion-by the way the tubi sounded great-van |

I drove the 328 today and it's amazing that almost a year after first buying it and 3k miles later, shifting through the gears all day long is such a pleasure. Until I get a Ferrari with F1, I don't know how the pleasure will compare. I know the F1 trans sounds really cool from hearing them at the Texas challenge race. They were either going from 4th or 5th down to 2nd and it just sounded cool. |

I believe the total output of ferrari in 2000 was 4000 cars and only 1100 came into the US.75% of 360's are Fi I love the 6 speed especially with the improved gearbox on the 360.Unless one is going to spend a great deal of track time where the f1 shines I can"t see the advantage of the f1. SAZECH-HIS OWN. |

It is cool I'll admit that. But there is some sort of artistry with a 6 speed. |

Van, I seem to remember reading that the percentage of 360's coming to the US was close to 60%. |

Bret, To me, the F1 is what the 360 is all about. The days of the (to me) clunky old gated shifter are over. Yes, the F1 is cool but once you experience it on the track, you don't even want to drive a stick. Just my $0.02 |

Yeah. It seems that you never see them. I mean I've seen half a dozen, but you would think with them being so popular you would see more. It's a weird car, and why does everyone get F1. I mean O.K. I could see some people, but everyone. Does no one like stick anymore? Will the F1 trans still work in ten years? I'm confused. I could see Ernesto having F1 cause he really uses it, but all the random people that just get F1 cause it's cool. |

Ernesto, I think that was the total number of 360's produced for 2000. As to the F1 version, in the beginning of the year 2000, 75% of them were being produced with the F1. Towards the end, it was more like 90%. Based on this, one can only assume that around 85% were F1 models. |
