I just ran accross this information on www.Barrett-Jackson.com regarding one of the offerings at this year's Scottsdale Auction: 1991 Ferrari F40 -- THIS F40 IS IN NEW CONDITION WITH ONLY 278 ACTUAL MILES AND RECENT ENGINE SERVICE COMPLETED. IT HAS GREAT OWNER HISTORY WITH PREVIOUS OWNERS BEING JOHN MCCALL, A GREAT RACING AND COLLECTOR CAR ENTHUSIAST AND PRESENT OWNER BASEBALL " HALL OF FAMER " REGGIE JACKSON. THIS HAS TO BE ONE OF NICEST AND LOWEST MILEAGE F40'S IN EXISTENCE. I wonder what the reserve is on this car? I also wonder if they are going to try and pull one of those tricks of attempting to inflate the selling price due to the celebrity status of the car's present owner. Should be interesting.... I'll be there and report what happens after I get back from the auction... |
