Yes Stephen, it came with the car. It is two pieces, out of thin, stamped, steel plate. One is a backing plate and the other piece is the frame. Its held onto the body by just the two top screws. |

Stephen, The frame that Peter is showing here is the orig. style frame. I have the orig. on my 79 308 GTS. Black and simply designed with the screws located in the four corners of the frame. It's just a wild guess but G.T. Car Parts carrys a lot of accessory items and they may have it. 623-780-2200 Ask for Bill or Dave. |

Get a gold chain frame. It would be classy on the Ferrari, very New Jersey-esque. |

Bingo! That is the frame I am looking for. Now the hard part...where can I get one that would fit a standard, predrilled rear 1989 328 GTS. Peter, thanks for your help...I think you said it came with the car, and had no idea where to get one...if anyone knows of a place to buy or get one made similar to the pix below, please advise. Many thanks. |

(Sorry Stephen that I couldn't help you with this when you emailed me awhile ago about my frame). |

I am currently looking for a better license plate frame than my current plastic, dealer advertised piece of junk. I noticed a simple steel/lead beveled frame on a previous message (believe it was on a Canadian car). Does anyone know where I can get a classic license plate frame for my 1989 328 GTS (back plate). And to answer the simple questions...I do not like the look of the flat steel frames at local auto stores...I would prefer to have a classic frame that fits modern plates and predrilled holes. |
