The 360 is a private car organised by QV London for the Movie, the rear panel used is now hanging on their wall! The 355 is actually a 348 that they were originally developing into a trackday car but received an offer they couldn't refuse! last time I saw it, it was red! | ||

I'm sorry to ruin a portion of the movie for anyone, but did you notice at the beginning that the rocket launcher went straight for the Porsche and not the Ferrari? The 360 remained relatively intact for what was going on. | ||

Last race was at Lake Kegonsa (Madison, Wisconsin). The official skeeter races have been held as far west as Lake Pepin on the Northern Mississippi River and as far East as Lake Champlain, Vermont. The smaller iceboats (DN's) are raced worldwide (starting in November in Finland & Minnesota and finishing up at Lake Baykal, Russia in May). Other interesting sites have included Terra del Fuego, Argentina (in July), Eagle Nest Lake, New Mexico & pre-WWII Manshukoku, Manchuria (when held by the Japanese). Well I just got back from the movie and was surprised.. Not the best Bond movie, but not the worst either.. In the opening scene was: a blue 360 modena, yellow 355 berlinetta, silver porsche 911 (?), Ford gt40 and a red diablo vt. I won't ruin the ending, but the yellow 355 and diablo make an unfortunate (!!) cameo..... I will have to let Pierce know about that... (My Mother's second cousin ) Anyone else see it??? |
