Head Nerd, 2nd class (Project Manager - IT development). The only guy above me is at the remote office 80% of the time.

I want a Red 360 Spider 6 speed, but currently I only have a Dodge Viper and a Caddy Escalade. If I lived in a no-snow state, I'd have the Ferrari by now.

dammit. :-(

Not bad for a 25 years of life (a week away from 26), tho.

As far as how I get there, I went to school for 6.5 years (4 degrees to show for it) and I got 6 mid/senior level IT certs while I was still in school.

However, now I realize that big money is only found in 6 places: Medicine, Entertainment, Law, High-end Business (CEO/Pres/CFO/COO/EVP/etc...), High end finance/investments, and Supremely lucky AND hard working salesmen.

High biz is my bag, so I'm off to MBA school.

Dreams come true.I came with my wife from Germany to the US (South Carolina) in 1994 as a Sales Engineer for a BMW Supplier. 2 years later we established our own company as the exclusive US Importer of a German Product (HYLA-US.com). Since 2 1/2 years we live and work in our dream State Florida. Business is doing great and I love travelling all over the US to set up new distributors. Well. Life is good.

I'm probably going to Uconn, they have a good school for entering the investment branches of businesses and it's not that far away. I think I'll wind up transferring after a year though. Fairfield is pretty cool and close, UDelaware is a phat party school, Lehigh is alright, if you want to do Physics go for MIT.
I was at my friend's Lake House (he had a big party all weekend for like our 30 closest friends) and his dad was there who is a retnal surgeon, he has an M5 and he let me take if for a spin. Cool car. Except for their Rolls, A4, and Excursion (for pulling their boats) all of their cars are BMWs.

I saw an L39 albatross fly at an airshow once. They were built in chzeckoslavakia right? Kurt, you must have had fun flying those planes too. It wouod be cool to be an airforce pilot and fly expensive fighters like that. I'm in the same boat a as bret, i dont know whatr i want to do, but i have some ideas. I want to major in engineering or physics. Where are you going to college bret? Luckily i have antoher few months to decide. Bret, one of my nieghboors who is my dad's friend works for something like you want to be. He drives an M5 (im gonna try to get him to let me drive it) Bret, i need money yo buy ferraris too. Maybe some day we could meet someowhere and i could see your car. I have alot of fre time now that i broke my foot and cant work. (If anyone here is an orthopedic surgion, how long till i can run? football is coming up and i cant miss it)

We have a pretty diverse group, it's kind of cool. You guys are giving me some good ideas here, oh baby. Everyone here has a cool job, but I have to say that Kurt flying F-100s and F-16s (my favorite fighter plane) is awesome. I think I'm still gonna plan on becoming some sort of investor, I've wanted to for about 4 years now, so I guess I should stay with that. I think I would be happy with any of your jobs though.

My wife and I own a successful international architecture practice (the smallest multinational in the world) on the seventiest floor of the Empire State Building. Most of our work is in Europe, but the Euro currently sucks. So, this is interesting: We need a weaker dollar to pay for the 360 spider we have on order.

Practiced dentistry for 12 years (great for manual dexterity but seen enough teeth to last me a lifetime), then founded a managed care company which I now run (hard work but extremely interesting). Also develop and own clinics (these pay for the cars), a restaurant (this soaks up money otherwise available for cars) and some real estate.

Seriously contemplating opening or investing in a high-end classic car restoration/sales shop in the New York/southern Connecticut area. Anyone share this interest?

A lot of you guys are involved in computers. It seems that everyone here is either: 1 engineer 2 a doctor 3 investor 4 computer related. Where are all the secretaries and waitresses?

On the porn topic, someone sent me a couple pics of a hot blonde girl washing a red/tan 355 spider. It's funny, if you look at the pics I guarantee you'll look at the car and not at the girl. There are a lot of porn stars, but very few Ferraris. For the sake of all of us, I wont post any of the pics here.

I am a Software Consultant in Southern California. Job is fun sometimes, but there are so many of us that it could be a little trying at times. I feel like a book worm most of the time, though. Always reading and learning new stuff just to stay current, but hoping to be a little ahead of the rest. Nevertheless, it does help to make enough money to convince my wife that I can spare some of it to get myself a Ferrari.

Now I build and service aircraft refuelers and tanker-trucks. Here's me hard at work: (you'll find these A.R. hydrant carts at LAX, Los Angeles)
