Across the street from the factory is a store called "Shopping F1" that has a lot of good stuff to buy -- from simple keychains, posters and books to F1 body parts. They might have something with a Schumacher autograph to buy in case you're not successful in getting MS to sign something directly. Bring money. Also, the Modena/Maranello area is well know for great food. Parmesean cheese, Balsamic vinegar, wines, etc., etc. In Modena, I ate in a place called Ristorante da Enzo. Great food and the walls were covered with photos of all the great Ferrari cars and people from the beginning. Have fun! |

visit the Maserati Factory visit the Lamborghini Factory visit the Pagani Factory You're not too far away from anything at that point - Hit Naples for Pizza, Florence for the Art, Rome for the Ruins, Venice for the canals, Pisa for the Tower (which is now open again after a long time), Milan for the fashion, etc etc etc etc. |

Also, make sure you visit the Ferrari gallery as well (it's in Maranello, if I remember correctly) - they've got some of the F1 cars there, as well as lots of 'street' Ferraris, including the F40 and F50... |

Vanny- As for what to see and do in the surrounding area, rent a sporty car and go driving up into the Alps - there are some WONDERFUL twisty mountains roads that are two lanes wide, and only one direction of traffic... It's a driving experience like no other i've ever had. Enjoy the trip! |

Vanny Contact the Ferrari dealer close to you to arrange it since officially is by confirmed letter only. From Milano it's about 2.5 hrs take the Autostrada A1 Sud towards Bologna-Firenze exit at Modena Nord and head towards Abetone and Maranello. It's on the main road, Via Abetone Inferiore between Modena and Maranello. From Rome about 1hr same take the Autostrada A1 (Milano-Bologna-Roma) exit at Modena Nord and same as above. Cheers |
