The wheel will fit, however it is important to point out that the reason the dealer said No is because of the deployment area of the air bag for each car is different and a serious crash would make the make the air bag ineffective.

Thanks guys. Looks like nothing conclusive and Florida's a bit far to go Will pursue this more when I finally get a car sorted. Mark - 360 prices still seem quite firm. 90k min from the official dealers and at least 80k from specialists. Plus the 355s I've seen seem to have dropped by a few k recently so am in no major rush at the minute...then again, it would be a nice Christmas present. |

Andy I called Ferrari UK Technical and they said no but if you can find a resolution ot this I would be interested too, (think I'm going to keep the 355 for a while longer now!). I'll ask a few other UK specialists I know and see what the response is |

Hi Andy... We have discussed that changing 355 steering wheel with a 360 one before. Here is the link : http://server.ferrarichat.com/~ferrari/ferrarichat.com/discus/messages/112/159958.html It may give you some ideas about it. By the way Welcome to FerrariChat |

Anyone know if this is possible? Looking to get my first Ferrari (hello Mark ) and am pretty much certain it has to be a 355GTB - still not sold on the 360's looks, and they're still a touch pricey, older models either don't fit me or would be too expensive to put 8k miles a year on. And the 355 is beautiful. Just about sorted on the exact spec I want. But why is the steering wheel so ugly on airbag cars? Would love to fit a 360 wheel to a 355, and would appreciate any advice on the possibilities. Happy to receive any and all feedback on this and other buying matters. As soon as I sell my R500 I'll have something red to keep my yellow Cat7 company |
