Ted...! You only live once...! ('Scuse the language, but) the house, take out a loan, sell your wife & kids and buy the new Enzo...! or at least buy an F50... i keep telling my boss i'll take a pay cut if he'll just break down and get the Carerra he wants... forget him, i'll send you portions of my (meager) paychecks to help you with living costs after you've put everything you own into a beautiful, red, obscenely fast Enzo... |

It does not sound like you can afford a nice older F-car. You might be more happy with a newer F-car or even .. (a P car) .. |

So Ted, might I ask why this will be your only shot at Ferrari ownership? If it's because of a settlement which you will be receiving, let me ask you this... After you have spent this bundle of cash on your $75k Ferrari, do you expect another settlement for the upkeep and maintance on this very old car, or will you just let it go to crap? I don't mean to be an A-hole, I just think it would be a good idea to have a plan in place before you spend your cash. |

If you prefer olders GT to the new ones ,, then a 365 GTC/4 is the one to go in that price range . Daytona motor , daytona sound and it look very nice as well. |

Why settle on one! You have $75k to spend, get a nice 330 GT 2+2 for around $40k and a 308 QV for around $35k. You then have a mid-engined (relatively) reliable sports car and a Classic front engined V-12 touring car. If you had to only have one then I agree with the Boxer. A 512 BBi, 12-cylenders and midengined classic styling. |

Ted,there are so many choices i would recommend you drive or at least check over as many different models as you could until you found the best car for your intended use.it may take a while but at least the hunt should be fun good luck. Frankie |

365GTC is nice but very few were made and like you say, they are pricey because of low volume and last of line. There really are no re-done, front engined, 2 seater, V-12's in that price range that are both fast and beautiful except for the 330GTC's that I can think of. Next up between $65K-$75K would be a Boxer BB512-512i then your modern Ferrari's, 308's, 328's, 348's, 355's and Testa Rossa's could be found in that price range or less depending on mileage and style. That's 35 years worth of different models to choose from so you can have fun narrowing it down to your all time favorites. |

Unloved, but I like them. 365 GTC4 A top unit is well within your $$ limits. A very nice ride that , imho, is a bit better put together (mechanically) than a GTB for (semi)daily drive usage. Jeff Davison |

As a regular working Joe who wants a Ferrari soooo bad, which would you guys buy if you had one shot. I have to buy a house first, and that will leave me $65-75k from the settlement for this. It will be my only shot at ownership. I would like 12-cylinders, preferrably a Columbo. Have really been wanting a 365GTC, but they are a little pricey. Could go 330GTC, but they are slower. What do you guys think? Thanks Ted |
