Dude, proper paint is glasurit. Call the 800 BASF # for Glassurit and they will get you to a jobber who has the paint. Ask the guy if he computer matches. Bring your fuel door to them and then can refine.

I wanted to get the chips in the nose painted, and possible the targa top. I think the tbs are much more attractive than the tss. |

Steve, are you going to repaint the whole car or just looking to touch-up a few paint chips? If you are repainting the whole car, just use the paint code from your car... If you are trying to match the color you car is now for touch-up work, the best way is to get it computer matched... Places ranging from a good body shop, to O'Reiley auto parts can do a multi-angle reading from your car, and mix paint to match.. As old as you car is, that is the only way to get a proper paint color match for touch-up work. |

Steve I have been told that it is almost impossible to match the paints exactly. PPG has been at the Ferrari shop here and they have tried to match to no avail. Will you do it yourself. I could recommend a body shop in Toronto who is Ferrari authorized and reasonably priced. Since you are paying in US dollars, probably a deal. If you are interested email me. |

I've been told that Sikken paint are higher grade than PPG and are easier in terms of color matching. |
