Martin: who is Mitchel? I had that same car pitched to me by a local Dallas guy. Sounds like a nice car, but what you listed is all I know. Any pics anywhere?

Jim,
just in case Mitchel has not contacted you yet:

He has a 1987 TR with 27XXX Miles, just done 30K engine service, new clutch, new lot of things, black over tan, must be a ncie car including 5pc luggage set for $58K. I think well worth it, when you deduct the service $10K and the clutch $3K and the luggage $ 2K you get a great TR for really low money!

I have been following these pretty religiously for about 4 months now. Lowest I have seen is $47K for an '87 all the way up to $89K for an '86 Miami Vice car. I have seen several '86's red/black for $59K and one on ebay that is rough bidding up to $44,600. I know a guy just sold an '88 wiht 28k miles black/tan for $50k today. Something in the $50K's is pretty standard depending on what year and the services done along wiht miles and condition. Ferrari of Dallas sold a '91 with full services red/tan for $77K a few weeks ago.

In addition to Bruce's question -- more info req'd:
16" or metric wheels?
colors?
US version?
When last major serviced?
Documents/Records/Manuals/Tools?
Fettled and used quasi-regularly OR parked for the last few years?
Are the precats and cats still on it? (Although they could still be "hollowed-out" so this is a risk even if they seem present.)
I didn't notice that much price difference by region within the US during my search in 1999 (Although since Denver was booming at the time, FoDenver was about $10K~15K higher on the ask. Today I doubt any area in the US has a shortage of 10~15 year old Fs looking for new homes).

Could you folks tell me what the going price range is for a 1986 testarossa in super fine condition in the Arizona/California area?

Thanks,
Bruce.
