Thanks Hans: Maybe I am just going to take a deep breath. Not that serious to really spend too much time on this. Appreciate your willingness though. Toying with several things, adding a 355 or 360, looking at the M3 as well as the M5 and also looking at the new G35 sport coupe with a M6 shift just for a fun daily driver.

NWI seems better than they used to. In the past, they'd take marginal exotics and try to sell them to stupid rich people as "investments". That didn't work, so I think they have been morphing into a legitimate dealer. Last time I was in there, the inventory looked pretty nice. A couple of iffy cars, but they didn't represent them as anything other than iffy. Still doesn't hurt to check, tho.

JScott: I won't have a lot of time, so trying to talk them out of a test drive, etc. may be a little difficult. After Fri am, I won't be near a computer for a week (I'll sure miss all you guys!), so any impressions that I might gather we'll have to discuss over the phone Fri eve or Sat am. I'm no expert, but perhaps I can get a general idea if the car was well kept.

Anyway, get back to me if you want me to drop by. I'd be more than happy to.

Beware of NWI, a lot of their cars are wrecks or some kind of smeared history. and $79k for a 95 with 26k miles is not a steal, I sold recently a 98 355B F1 with 27 on it for $81k and did well on it. and the F1 was only available in 98 and 99 on the 355.

I have noticed that the "buy it now" prices are usually about $2-3K over the actual reserve. So offer them $75K then agree on say $77K.....if you move on it and it checks out. Almost sounds cheap! Man when did $77K become cheap?

That's right, the "Buy it Now" is fairly attractive. Han's, I don't know if I am serious or not. But, if it is not out of your way, I would apprciate your impression of the car. May be willing to trade my 89 328. Don't know if the 30K service done. I will ask them.
Thanks,
Scott

The current price means nothing... the reserve hasn't been met.... at least not as of right now.

looks like a good deal at first glance. It is a '95, a Berlinetta with manual (not F1) which seem to be cheaper. I like that combo myself. I saw one for I think $88K a month ago and thought the same thing you are.
