Noel I was thinking that also. A good way to sell out the last bunch of 360s. Start the 360 Stradale being produced alongside the 360 Modena, then slowly stop Modena production and finish off the last few as Stradales to make sure they get sold off no problem. |

What kind of options will the Stradale have? |

Tino: I think the springs are a little too soft on the standard-issue 360. It is faster than an F355 around the track no doubt, but it dosen't quite *feel* like it? (feels plusher, more civilised, a little less kart-like.) It just feels like, capable as the 360 is, it could use harder springs. Realize I am splitting hairs here! Both are absolutely fabalous cars. I'm really looking forward to the 360GT is what I'm trying to say Best! Ben. |

It has been a pattern of Ferrari recently. They do this to celebrate the success of the old model as they are getting ready to introduce the successor (and also to inject sales). Check out the history of the following: 348 SS/Challenge 355 Fiorano 550 Barchetta And I am betting that the last 4 or 5 Enzos will be very special. |

Purpose? It's the same reason why Porsche build the GT2. The car's not the 420 Modena, which will probably be available by 2004. |

What is this purpose of this model? I thought the 360 was going to be revised late in m.y. 2003. ?? |

Willis - that is spot on - it's being called Stradale! Apparently the dealers are already aware of this car (even though they may not let on) - Luigi Gatti has already ordered one actually..... limited edition special - BUT will it be F1 only?? |

Someone in the Ferrari Owner's site refer to this car as the 360 Challenge Stradale. |

Awesome! Always thought the 360, even though it's all around more capable in terms of performance, wasn't quite as 'racy' as the F355. Infact, I found it a little soft if you really drive it. This should FIX that in grand style! (and with the power bump and weight loss, should go like absolute hell!) I'm excited! Best! Ben, |

Guys - do you rememeber all that banging on about a special road-going 360 Modena.... : "Michael Schumacher has won 3 titles with Ferrari and they want to honour him with a 360 "S" or GTO type version: - Modest power increase ~ 420hp, - Lightened with lots of interior trim chucked away, - Very aggressive suspension/chassis setup - Overall - somewhere between a Challenge car and existing road car - Limited numbers - to be built alongside existing 360M. Hard top only." It's true - it's happening... I know that Tino would concur.. In fact someone on the board has already ordered one from his Ferrari dealer in Switzerland.... LG - time to tell the F-chat crew!!! |
