You mean the 355 Spiders that I was offered several months ago for $129,000 and $139,000 (with more miles) were not bargins.

What is that? My advice is not to touch that Mondial with a 10ft pole... who knows what the history REALLY is on that car. Besides, we all know that carfax is not ALWAYS the last source for accurate information.
The 355 looks clean, though... The buy now price seems high, but I'm sure that can be negotiated.

This one looks nice, however it apparently did not have the 5,000 service and got major service to include the belts when the check engine light came on at 9,500. I would think that no service for almost first 10,000 miles is a very bad sign plus the fact that the cam belts had to then be changed is also a bad sign. Of course the price will still continue to climb.

Besides PPI, are there other things to look for.
On this one I asked them exactly what service records they had. Also to send me a photo of the speedometer/odometer. It would seem that selling it for my brother or a friend would be a warning sign. Have not pulled CarFax yet.
