Thanks everyone... I just got back from a great drive -- went to Newport Beach (Fashion Island)... down PCH, over to Cliff Drive, and back to Irvine via the 133 Highway... Whew! As Nicholas Cage put it in 'Boiler Room': Look at the smile on my face - ear to ear, baby. Btw, saw 2 nice red 360's... one spider and one modena going north on PCH near Crystal Cove... living the dream! | ||

Gawd, a walk down memory lane - i had a new 328 delivered to me yrs ago in similar fashion via Intercity, took pics(hmmm, where are they), and when that baby was rolling off the transport the thing i most remember thinking was 'what on earth have i gotten into?'. As my girlfriend at that time(now former gf) mentioned, 'honey, if not for that car, you could buy a two story house and we could live together!'...shoulda taken the hint then, i guess, but am a s-l-o-w learner sometimes. Anyways, this should be a memorable moment for you, particularly if this is early in your Fcar experience. Enjoy it. | ||

Byron, Congrats! I was in your situation back in March of this year where I was in Florida and my F-car was in Virginia being picked up (I moved). It was nerve-racking wondering where my car was and felt sooooo good to see the truck pull into my new neighborhood. I felt like a new owner all over again. Beautiful car! | ||

Well, today was the day for me, guys. My 348 Challenge arrived home, thanks to the services of Exotic Car Transport. The car left Miami on Monday 12/2 and arrived California today 12/7, as promised. Along with the 24x7 GPS tracking service available, Bryan (Truck #007) kept me in constant contact by cell phone. Very professional and highly recommended. Here are some pictures:      Thank you Bryan... it was a long drive indeed!  Home at last!  Time to go for a drive! |
