962 seems to me to be the ultimate sports racer of the 20th C, Nothing could beat it for a decade during which Ferrari abandoned sports car racing. 333SP is ok but I want to stay away from carbon fiber & computers cus they r too much trouble. If you have any engine problems with a 333 you have to send it to Italy and wait a year & pay $100k & maybe they will send it back. No way I'm putting up with that. with a 962 its a tube frame I believe, Or is it a monocoque? with a fiberglass body, you can drop in a flat 6 from any 80s or later 911 & fly & I mean FLY!!!!!! those things will blow the doors off a 333SP like it was parked & at half the $ , Cant beat that |

William, did you see the IRS auction for the F40LM in Orlando? I'd figure you'd be the first to jump all over that. |

Still thinking what i'm gonna buy myself in 14 months when I hit 40. These are my top 2 toys on my list, within reach at least. A Gulfstream jet would be really cool but thats not gonna happen The 962 has the upper hand right now, its tough to beat, maybe I'll paint it red & paint a big Cavallino Rampante on its roof |
