How do you distinguish between whether they are working or on strike? (reminds me of the joke about how you tell whether the "grip" on a movie set is dead--the doughnut falls out of his mouth). There's gotta be a joke in here somewhere....

Since when does a Ferrari strike effect build quality. I thought they were all built poorly :-)

Let's just hope they don't go out like Volvo and sell to Ford (or whichever crappy american car manufacturer that it was that bought Volvo)...

KCCK, just got offa phone w/factory, you're car's on it way; however, they advised me to tell you to please make sure it has all four wheels, and appropriate number of lug bolts (!):-)

What does all this mean for Ferrari in the big picture? Will it be sold? It cant die as if i am not mistaken is a profitable company, or am I wrong?

Workers at Ferrari in Maranello, Italy, are on strike today in protest at plans to restructure parent company Fiat Auto with the possible loss of up to 8000 jobs, reports The Times.

There were also protest demonstrations over the weekend at the Alfa Romeo factory at Arese. Fiat Auto is seeking to recoup one billion euros of debt by the end of 2003.
