Maybe Ferrari data is for the European car while the American car is burdened with several hundred pounds of bunpers and other regulated crap. |

From my May 1986 issue of Road and Track, curb weight is 3170, final drive ratio is 3.82:1, 100ft skidpad .83g. They don't have 200 ft skid number. This is an 86 car. FWIW, 0-60 in 6.0, 1/4 mile 14.5@96mph, top speed 149, 60-0 in 154 ft. Last paragraph: "The 328 is a fine example of evolutionary improvement and this latest version of Ferrari art is wonderful driving machine. To those who are fortunate enough to afford rolling art, the engines flexibility and performance are worth the price of admission. And then there's the plus of driving a Ferrari- a legend when enthusiasts dream about exotic cars." |
