Mike, you basically summed up the whole equation!!! To each his own. Whatever Master P does is his own decision/choice. Why worry about someone else's luxuries??? But to stick to the topic, "What has he done to his Ferrari??" But hey its his money. Let him spend it on whatever he pleases.

I've seen a lot of Ferraris on MTV Cribs, but rappers tend to get 2 cars as "status symbols": Bentleys and Escalades.

Many earn the money, many will go broke in a couple of years. To each his own I suppose. I find a lot of hip hop houses and cars tasteless, but I wish I could afford even a quarter of what they own.

Well said Neil, I agree. Justin your right he has the money to do what he wants with his car, and we can also agree that a lot of us think its tasteless. Saying that, I admire a man who built a career on entertaining others rather than ripping off the public (i.e. stockholders). I wouldn't care if Master P had whatever he wanted at least he isn't a thief, like those dirtbags at Worldcom, Enron, etc.

master P's car isnt good looking but to say most of these rap stars pimp out their F-cars is not true. most of them dont have F-cars they have SUV's. blame the record company for their interpretation of what hip hop enthusiasts want f cars to look like

i follow all forms of music and all my associates who listen to hip hop have the same tastes as you guys.

btw, theres nothing wrong with owning gas stations. id rather do that than be an dishonest executive robbing millions of their pension and futures.

his car is ugly tho, lol

Have yet to see an actual picture of the car, so I can't judge him yet. But most of these rap stars "pimp" out their f-cars... Ugh..

Wow!! I can't imagine how ignorant, hostile, and immature most of you guys are acting. Just cause a black man made it big and bought a nice car doesn't mean you guys have to become all mad!! I'm especially talking about John, William, and Jake. You guys sound very racist and possibly jealous. Master P basically built upon what he loved to do, like most of you did to become wealthy. So what if you don't like his music!! He is still getting paid by the people who do listen to it!! And just because he owns a chain of gas stations make you guys look down on him?? My GOD!! No matter what he owns/runs, he's still getting paid!!! He's wealthier than most of you; if not all of you guys here anyways. So what's the problem??? If he's got the cash; then why not spend it?? You got to understand; not all these black rapstars, athletes, etc. were not born to rich parents or fed with a silver spoon. These guys grew up in poverty, and did whatever they could to survive, whether it may be drug dealing or whatever. Of course these guys dreamt of being rich and owning many luxuries of life that wealthy white people do. SO WHAT!!! Why not enjoy life the way you want!! He has the money; why not spend it on something he likes? They started with practically NOTHING and created an empire. So next time be careful what you say. I'm truly surprised how snobbish some fellow enthusiasts/owners can be, if not ignorant.

You all might also recognize Master P from the Nicholas Cage movie, Gone in 60 Seconds. He plays the gangsta "Johnny B" who drives the pimped out S Class.

Jim, i know, it's frustrating... i was just combing through my year's expenses and the last thing i even want to think about right now is a Ferrari (1:18, real or otherwise)... i made a few rap songs, myself, with some friends out in California and i know if the right person ever hears one, i'll be wisked away from this dreary, paycheck-to-paycheck existence, however, i can't rely on that... (i don't want to own a chain of gas stations, anyway!)... As far as the car goes, i kinda like it... i'm not into labels so the fact that it says Gucci on it a billion times doesn't really appeal to me, but if it were just a custom paint job, i would like it... it's different.

Just makes me jealous that these "thugs" get a hit rap song or deal, make some cash then are able to role it into something bigger with their following of fans. I mean what is Sean John clothing? Nothing but a logo, but so is Polo, Ferrari etc. Like I said I am just jealous!

I don't know much about Master P, actually all I know is he has no taste apparently. But, if he's like Puff Daddy (P. Diddy now I think) then I give him credit. I'm no so much into their lifestyle, etc. but some of these guys are pretty damn smart. P.Diddy has setup an empire, he's a college grad in business too if I remember correctly (doesn't come out much as it doesn't go too well with the thug image). So, although for the most part I'm not into them, it's impressive when they are not just living on credit like many rap stars do, but are rather well to do and financially stable. That said, he still has an ugly car.

Wasn't Master P in an Episode of Curb Your Enthusiasm by the name of Crazy Eyes Killa? He was the one with the cool crib and da on the floors! Just because he can afford what he wants doesn't make it cool, maybe to Master P. But I think if you see his videos the cars in there are all Gaudy! With a capital G. Oh by the way welcome Jake.

I am 30 years old and have followed the typical American male musical sprectrum which has included (unfortunately) stints with rap music. But that was a long time ago. I don't think I have ever heard a Master P rap song; I certainly cannot name one.

Now this clown (to borrow Jim's word) owns a chain of gas stations? WTF??

Jim,

He took 10k and started a small record store which turned into an indy label where he began signing prospective rap artists and it was all donuts from there... He's quite the opposite of a clown, really... he's a very shrewd businessman, as noted below, with all the business ventures he's got his hands in... the man's bank account is near bottomless... coincidentally, the name of his record label is No Limit...

I also saw on a T.V. show, Master P showing off a $2,000,000.00 (yes that's correct $2 Million) dollar diamond watch.

If you have it why not spend it. I mean the guy is worth over $200M.

WHatever else can be said of Percy Miller (Master P) and his music, you can't deny that he doesn't employ the virtues of capitalism. He seems to be shrewd enough to be vertically integrated in his own business, and involved with secure businesses otherwise.

I was reading the edition of Source Magizine that has master p's ferrari in it and some info on him. Here is a quote: " The Businessmans expansive portfolio includes New Orleans estate, a film company, a telecommunication business, a sports management firm, a gas station chian, and oil refinery investments."

WHen I bought my 512TR from Shelton that had an unfortunate 512M there, they called "Puffy" Seems some football player with no concept of ferraris bought it, The interior looked like some Turkish whorehouse with bright red leather seats & a HUGE stereo with 18" subwoofers at ear level, perfect for helping one concentrate on the track :-)

Then it had mexican style wheels that stuck out at east 1" from the body & goofy tires. I felt so bad for that innocent car.

Shelton pawned it off on Symbolic & "Puffy" was in LA last year in the same condition. I really hope somebody buys "puffy" & makes an honest woman out of her :-)

To: Miemus, et. al. --- You are correct, I revised my profile after noticing my error(s). You will also see that I corrected the model year of my 1986 Lotus(from 1987), as I noticed, that was also entered incorrectly . This is my first computer and unlike many of you, who have grown up with them, I am a real novice. Don't be so quick to judge someone's veracity. -----Jake

P.S. Had I been untruthful, I surely would have made certain that the model year and the vehicle type were congruous!

to

'97 Viper GTS, '90 Lotus Esprit, '87 Lotus Esprit, '77 Lotus Esprit, '71 Corvette LT-1, '67 Shelby GT500, '65 Sunbeam Tiger

Jake,

Just for the record, Master P WAS one of those unfortunate kids and now, through success, he's living a dream he never thought possible when he was just a little adolescent, dodging bullets and selling crack, just to be able to eat...
Dave Goldman already chimed in with regards to his charitable work, so i'll leave that alone...

Just for the record, Master P (who I'm no fan of BTW), does quite a great deal of good things for the community. He delivered several THOUSAND complete turkey dinners to the poor in his old neighborhood this past Thanksgiving. And every Christmas he hands out toys to just about every kid in the inner city! Aside from the gaudy Gucci 360, his stable of vehicles are all top notch.

I have a feeling that defaced 360 will be like Vanilla Ice's $600,000 Gemballa Porche. It won't be long before it's in the Dupont Registry for 25% of it's price of admission.

I just read that there was an article on rock stars and their cars in Rolling Stone at the end of October that had a picture of the Master P Ferrari.

On the topic of rappers and Ferraris... I think Jermaine Dupri will probably be getting rid of some due to his recent troubles with the IRS! ;)

William,

Master P is a rapstar who had a 360 custom made, with alot of Gucci trim on it... someone started a thread on weird colors for Ferraris and someone mentioned the Gucci 360 he had in his Tight Whips video... i think this is the link to the thread (i hope this works): http://server.ferrarichat.com/~ferrari/ferrarichat.com/discus/messages/21/180895.html?1039546004

I was wondering if anyone knew of a link or could post some pictures. I did a search but couldn't find anything. Supposedly this thing has a $50,000
paint job and cost him half a million. I have seen most people on here say it was ugly but I was just wanting to see. If anyone can help thanks in advance.
