Oh, man... Mark, that is so awesome...! i've always dreamed of being on a track... i'd love to see some video feed of that... how much time did you spend actually driving on the track, total, for both days...?
(Do you think they'd let me on with my Sentra...?)

Hi, Greg. He was standing inside the press room and filming through the wet glass so the quality is not good. I'll do some editing hopefully over the weekend and see if I can get a link out to you guys.

It was a very wet day at Sears Point on Monday. I had to take it real easy but I still spun out a couple of times in my 550. I managed to stay on the track though and it was a bit un-nerving to end up facing the wrong way on the track and watching the other cars pass by while I couldn't get the car started for a minute or so. Three other cars did do some reasonable amounts of damage going off track and hitting walls, etc. A very new M3, an old 240Z and a Boxter.

I asked some guy to use my video camera and tape me going around the track. However, when I reviewed the video tape there was only a few seconds of me in my 550 and he spent the rest of the time following a red 360. I guess he couldn't tell one red Ferrari from another. Even though I had big magnetic numbers on the side of my car and the 360 had his number on with a glass marker.

I thought it was going to be wet on Tuesday too so I went all the way home and came back with my 996TT and of course the track ended up being bone dry. Most of the other cars had left though so I spent almost the entire afternoon on the track with only a few other cars. There was one half hour session where I did not even see another car on the track until I came into the pit area. Still had another car crash into the wall though. An older M3 lost it in the esses.
