I drive my TR everyday also. Maybe 8K per year. I am never selling it, so I am not worried about depreciation. I do warm it up in the morning and do regular service. It's always driven when it's running!! I like to enjoy my Ferrari everyday, just feels wrong driving any other car now. I have had mine for about 3 years. James |

I give this person Ferrari owner of the year award. 15k miles a year on it!!! As long as they properly warmed it up every day and didn't drive it in too much rain or snow. I would love to drive mine everyday, but I always warm it up for 5-10 minutes. That takes too much for just a 20 minute commute to work. |

Scott; look at my post 355 prices! I have listed some that were in the recent paper here in Miami. I personally think that $109K is overpriced! There was also a recent post about old car low miles vs. new car high miles! Go down a little in the general discussions. If oyu have no intention on ever selling your car, just negotiate a good price and drive the car. I believe that high milage does nothing to these cars if they are maintained properly. Judge the car by if you believe that the owner loved his car, or just used it for transportation. Rock Chips are common. My front looks awefull right now after a high speed trip into the Keys and a high speed trip to Sebring. Still the overall condition is great and it actually won a concourse even in that condition! Good luck! |

Mid-High 80's may be the right price, IMO. Ferraris with miles suffer huge at resale. Although a Ferrari that has been driven (and properly maintained) is actually a better car than one that hasn't - unless, of course, you are trying to sell it. |

Saluti. I am soliciting pricing opinions on a '98 355 Spider with 41K miles. Asking price is 109K, car is obviously driven (rock chips, worn leather, etc. but nothing glaring), recent service records are excellent. Based on recent posts and other sources (autotrader.com), higher milage 355 spiders are in this range, but the milage is more like 15-20K. Any idea, assuming that 105-110K is a newer going price for a 20K miles spider, what a reasonable deduction is for 41K miles? |
