That is the only thing that worries me. There is no place to mount a roll bar, however I am going to look at a Hoop that can sit on the luggage rack to give some protection. I am just not sure what sits under the rack / tray. |

Adam, Are you using any form of rollover protection? Using harnesses in a car w/out roll over protection you run the risk of spinal compression. Not trying to be macabre. |

I decided to put a harness and racing seats in my TR, however I did not want to drill through the rear deck and leather for the shoulder mounts. I contemplated building a custom harness bar that mounts onto the D rings in the b-post, as I had seen on many other track cars. I found a local company that builds them for P-cars, Audi, and BMW. He has built one for a 308, and will build one for me at the same price as his high end bar ($129). You can use it to mount the belts or to loop over to maintain the horizontal plane to your shoulders and then mount to the floor. If anyone else is interested, check out his site and let him know. He needs to know only the distance from D ring to D ring on the b-post. I know many of the later cars have the mouse trap belts and this will not work, but if you do have normal belts, it is a great way to mount belts without cutting up the interior. I saw the bar last night, and it is very well made, adjustable, powder coated, and heavy duty. http://www.stable-energies.com/stable/shoulder.html Adam
