John,
My wife has a 1972 246GT, Rosso Corsa, black leather with red insert Daytona seats, Campy rims, but no flairs (I have stock rims too).
This car has all new paint, glass and leather. The rims are new and we run Michelin XWX's.
The car has a Tubi exhaust and sounds great.
The car shows just over 12,000 miles but I do not believe it is correct.
next year we will take the motor out to be freshened up.
I love to drive it, but I do not get a chance very often, this is Dana's car and I have been told to keep my hands off! |

Jim, that is so cool!
Grant Maiman (Team Redbull Formula Reneault) is staying with me right now, he took the F40 up to my daughters school (2nd grade) and did a presentation on his racing career and then took them all outside and did 360's and powerslides in the school parking lot!
My wife filmed it, the smoke was so thick you could not see the car!
60 2nd graders were screaming for more!
These kids will never forget that!
You have to share these cars!

My wife teaches 4th grade in Dallas. She emailed me saying one of her students was a ferrari fan and his favorite was the F40. She told him I had a "friend" in KC that owned one. I sent him some F40 jpg's and he is freaking out.
So you are famous in a Dallas 4th grade class. |
