I do custom cf work in the aerospace prototyping industry, I can tell you there is really only one way to do carbonfibre 'right' and that is to use a pre-preg material (carbon and expoxy in the perfect ratios in one) and to vacumm-bag, and autoclave it. (high-tempature controlled pressure oven.) The result is very expensive, but makes one incredible part with properties that border on the impossible. Best! Ben. |

damn, I thought I saved this in my favorites. Take Forza and look for a german company. Dimex or something in Mainz or Wiesbaden / Germany. They have a whiole line of carbon parts for the 355s interior. I was looking for a friend that has melting parts.

Ditto what Mitch said... the epoxy bound CF pieces are the ones to get. What kind of CF are you looking for? Like engine pieces or interior pieces? I have a friend who does carbon fiber accessories for race cars and he says the can make anything you want... just send the original piece and they will mimic it. However, I think the original piece is destroyed in the process! :D Patrick |

I will interject one thing I know from CF on my motorcycle. There are two (basic) kinds of binders (resin) used to form CF; polyester and epoxy. The polyester is not as stable and will degrade in sunlight, is scratched by polishing compounds, and disolved by various thinners (WD40, lacquer thinner, acetone,...). Epoxy is not--and last a lot longer. |

clark- try here: http://www.rmferrari.com/accessories.htm most of the stuff listed is for the 360, but there may be something that fits both, who knows. none of this stuff looks all that functional, just dress up. however, gruppe m, actually made a functional intake for the 355, and testarossa, out of c/f. look here: http://www.geocities.com/knkorea/rmc_ferrari_355.jpg
