Hi Posted this to another thread (Toronto Meeting). Hi went great. We were there for about 3 hours. The traffic/driving was ok once you got onto the main roads. (Paul didn't drive his 308 though). I did see an Alfa Spyder on Steeles Ave. along the way, reminded me of the days when I drove my 1750 GTV all year round ..... 10 of us showed up. Great chat, great food. Attendees were Sam Sloane, Jay Grande, Paul Newman, Robert Calisi, Paul Calisi, Rocco Solmito, Dante, Peter, Stewart Chung (all the way from SF!), Gerrit Visser. Unfortunately none of us brought a camera, bummer. Plans are to do another one in the spring, possibly a BBQ. | ||

I think a good time was had by all. That good canadian beer and pasta, mmmm. Sorry Bruce, I didnt drive the 308 and I didnt get stuck. I forgot my american flag at home too, oh well. Frank, you missed out, I think the count was 10 and we were there from 12 til just after 3-3:30. Havent decided on what show yet Bruce but I think its 99% sure you'll have to put up with me in the summer. | ||

Did the lunch happen? I got stuck downtown and considering the weather, it would have been a trek to get up to Match and back down. I was kinda upset cuz I was looking forward to meeting some enthusists. | ||

Insanity knows no bounds. I finally got a hold of an ashtray for the 308 but it is a later one with the hole for the horse on it. As I write this I have just finished chemically stripping the paint off the lid, lead (yes lead) filling the hole, and block sanding it perfect. Now I am hungry and will be ,for sure, making it to lunch tomorrow. See you all there. | ||

Hwy 7 west of Weston Rd. "Match Bar and Grill" is located on the corner of Hwy 7 and Whitmore. You can only get to it from Whitmore but you should be able to see the sign from Hwy 7. Whitmore is on the south side of Hwy 7 | ||

Nope never been to Canada. Was in Erie, PA yesterday 20 degrees and snow!. Canada in January probably even colder! Rocco's huh? I will have to look that up. I am in town doing some work for Northern Group. THink they have something to do with footlocker or something like that. I will have to get my hotel and client locations posted. | ||

Guys I spoke to the owner of Match and made reservations for 10-15 people for Lunch January 3rd at 12:00 What do you say we head to the Go-Kart track after and do a few laps.
