That is great new! Now maybe the Ferrari will become reliable and the United States owners will be treated better. I hope they get it, only good can come from this. |

Maybe Ferrari then becomes the entry level Lamborghini? Scrap the baby Lambo, let the 360/420 take the V8 place, have a cheaper than Murcielago front engined V12 and a the the Murc as flagship. All sold at Hermann's German Autos along with Porsche, Bentley, Rolls, Audi, Maybach, BMW, Maser, VW. A car for every need and wallet. Christ. |

A downside to VW owning Ferrari means that we would probably not see VW/Audi enter F1 with their own works team - something that has been rumored quite a bit lately. Although, competing against itself (between its many product lines) seems to be a commom element currently withing VW, so maybe there is still a possiblity. I would love to see VW, Porsche, Peugeot, and maybe Nissan enter F1. Ernesto |

"Does this make the "Bull" our new step-brother?" And you thought the Ferrari Challenge Series was great? Well... Imagine Lamborghinis racing with Ferraris, both on the same track at the same time? Call it the Italian Challenge Series. Now that would be incredible. What are the chances?

What is the origin of the word "S.p.A" ? I know its an owners group. With many divisions. I think its a race track? Is it a city name also? I have seen it written many different ways. AutoWeek uses S.p.A ??? |

Does this make the "Bull" our new step-brother? Talk about a small world. F-car and Lambo living together under the same German family. If I was Audi/VW I would make sure everyone knew I owned both supercars now! (even if it is just a minority in Ferrari) Marketing would be priceless for the Germans. Think of all the racing and road car implications this would have for Audi to have ownership in worlds top two exotics. Then factor in German's P-cars and you have the top 3 in German hands. |
