Thanks for the mention Tim. I am sure Matt would thank you as well but last I heard that bum is sitting on a warm beach in St. Croix surrounded by white sand, blue water, and beautiful women, so I am sure he is busy at the moment. Something about warm weather in the winter and shaving three seconds off your lap time, eh Matt! By the way you will be happy to know I just got back from Prague in the Czech Republic and it was between 5-9 F during the day there. Honestly I think we all owe Rob L. a vote of thanks for this great board. He has done a wonderful job of making this the premiere chat board for exotic car enthusiasts. I used to be a frequent poster on the unofficial BMW M5 message board. The guy who founded that board also did a good job. All the Bmw M5 folks contributed some cash to fly the guy in from Sweden and rent him a hotel room in California and a week's use of a Porsche Boxster. I don't know how long this board has been up but at the five year anniversary we ought to do something nice for Rob. Maybe have a big F-Chat gathering and rent him a 360 for a few days. Just an idea. By the way Rob is going to help me post some videos from my Challenge car (in-car shots) of the 2002 track season. Most of the videos will be from Summit Point and Watkins Glen and will show a vareity of cars such as 333's, F40's, 962's, ALMS M3's, and other assorted machinery. Should be up and running in the next week or so. Happy New Year everyone! Regards, Jon P. Kofod 1995 F355 Challenge #23

I'd like to nominate all the nonowners who come here everyday as much as it drives us crazy in a way to hear all the wonderful stories from the owners on the board and then not have one to drive. Also thanks to all the owners here for the drool we put on your cars at the shows and feeling our pain. Hi my name is Matt and I am a Ferrari addict |

I know I haven't been on the board that long, but still, I think I have a pretty good impression on whom deserves this.. thingy award.. I would proberbly nominate TomD and Matt Lemus for the Modena thread.. Those two should be detectives for a living. Nice job on that one Then Rob for his dedication to this site. It's the most amazing board I've ever seen, along with supercars.net's multimedia board. That is pretty cool too. Those are the three I would nominate at this point. Don't know you other guys enough yet.. |

I nominate Jim Glickenhaus, for sharing his magnificent P4 with us, and also for helping spark some interesting discussions about vintage Ferraris! And of course, in tandem with that, I second the nomination of Wayne. |

With the holiday season upon us, I thought it would be nice to take a minute to praise our fellow ferrariChat friends that have gone above and beyond to advance our hobby, or helped one of our members. I'll like to send a thanks and honorable mention to Martin (Miami348ts). Last month he put together a great tour of Miami with 20 F-cars. It was a great event, well planned and quite interesting. We did more in one day then most events do in two-day, yet it was still a relaxed pace and the emphasis was on having fun. Martin is a great Host ( the only person I met that was nicer, was his lovely wife). I was especially pleased with the nice people that I met. It was my first chance to ride in a 360,355,348,328,308 all in the same day. Which was a great help for someone trying to decide what car is best for my next sports car purchase.
