I think it's easy to point fingers, but I think we're all capable of being involved in these flame wars. I've even been involved before. I get very defensive over things close to me like FerrariChat.com and my 328. Funny how some of those posting disgust with this thread or other flame threads have been the root cause of previous ones. Trust me, if someone gets me mad enough and publicly says something that I need to defend, then I'll go to war and defend myself publicly, since the attack was public. No reason to be hypocritical myself and I fess up, however, there are a vast majority of you that are truthfully flame free and I give you credit. For those of us that are flame sensitive I've created this folder that eventually can be found at the bottom of the General Ferrari Discussion thread list. If a thread gets out of hand I will put it in this folder, then everyone can continue or ignore in peace. I'm always open to feedback and advice from everyone. | ||

This trivial banter, as annoying as it is, doesn't shake my faith in the board or in Rob. It also does nothing to take away from what goes on here on a daily basis. Alas, maturity and restraint aren't traits implied by Ferrari ownership or enthusiasm. Apparently neither is the idea of "an appropriate place to carry out personal matters." The irony is that my post here will only increase this thread's visibility. I won't comment again. My point here is that these spats shouldn't drive people away or make people become discouraged.
