Is there any way to do a reverse search on cars by owner name and find the vin and then find who owns the car now? Would be interesting if you wanted to "collect" celeb cars or just locate one.

My dad used to own a new 68 camaro rs convertible and I would love to find it, but no idea on any of the details.

I heard a rumor that Elvis was swapping out the timing belts just last weekend. Supposedly, he will be cruising EP boulevard this weekend and will be
"takin' care of business" at the Krispy Kreme donut shop around dark.

Shortly after Graceland was open to the public, around 1984, I had the opportunity to visit Elvis' home. At that time the black 308gt4 was in a carport that was attached to the home along with an assortment of other cars. It was apparent that these cars were not being maintained in top condition due to their location. I don't recall the milage but I feel sure it was under 14,000 miles. In around '88 or '89 the car was sent to Ferrari South in Jackson, MS to be painted. The car was not in running condition at the time. The estate just wanted the car painted to place it in the new display area. As a result the car was pushed on and off the transport. Today the car resides in Elvis' car display across the street from Graceland.

Hollywood Sports Cars became Ferrari of Beverly Hills in the early '90s. It was owned, at that time, by Chik Vandergriff and managed by his son Chris.

I'm not really an Elvis fan but the tour was very interesting.

Hollywood Sports Cars was California's oldest official Ferrari dealership back in the 60's and 70's. Not sure what happened to them but they might have become Beverly Hills Ferrari (Wilshire Blvd, Los Angeles), which is the dealership that was taken over by the factory a few years ago and then resold.

Ogner Motorcars in Woodland Hills was the oldest Ferrari dealership in California. They were recently sold and have become The Auto Gallery, Los Angeles.

There is currently a dealer/shop called Hollywood Sports Cars that deals mostly in older British and German sports cars. It is owned by Chick Vandagriff.

I believe Hollywood Sports Cars(which was the oldest continuous Ferrari dealer in U.S.) metamophosized into the other Ferrari owned dealership(other is S.F. dealer in Marin, Hollywood was in L.A.). Vaguely remember reading some details about this a few yrs ago; there might have been some sort of story here, but i don't remember much.
Also, seems like another thread on this BB mentioned that Ferrari had given up/sold/xferred this dealership to somebody else, and that the SFO dealer was the only remaining factory owned dealership in the U.S.

Surprised to see that it's not a convertible because Colonel Tom Parker usually took 50 percent right off the top of everything that Elvis got!

Well after weeks of waiting I finally got a response from Graceland about Elvis' black 1975 Ferrari 308 GT4 Dino. It was bought as a used car on October 7, 1976 from Hollywood Sports Cars but they couldn't give me any info as to serial number, milage or previous owners. If anyone has more info or pictures please let me know. The car is still at Graceland. If you take a virtual tour you can see the car. This would be a great addition to the GT4 registry! Is this dealer still in business?
