You have to wonder about any car that old with less miles on it anyway. Im sure many of them have more miles than they show on the speedo. These cars can handle the mileage as long as they are maintainded properly. Sounds like Allan has taken care of it, nice car! Noelrp that is an equally fine looking SS you have there!

I rented a 94 348 Spider while on vacation in Maui, in 2001. It was black/tan with chrome wheels and according to the odometer: 84,000 miles!! I drove it for 6 hours and had a blast. Can't compare it with a lower mileage version (since I never drove any) but if that Spider came up for sale, I wouldn't discourage anybody from buying it just because of the miles. It was a really solid car in very good condition. As long as it got properly serviced throughout its life, why not?

Sorry allan, still a bit too early for me to purchase anything. I gotta get through college first or else I wont be able to park it in a garage and I dont want to leave a ferrari in a college dorm parking lot or have it stored :-) My parents gladly offered to hold on to it while Im at college but im afraid my dad would have a bit too much fun with it :-)

If the car is still up in a year or so, we will talk :-)

mileage is good! can't even tell you how many "low" mileage examples I came across during my search for my dream f-car (and didn't believe the odometers on half of those).

In the end, the more miles the better as long as expected maintenance has been documented and consistently adhered to over the lifetime of the car, I have documentation back to the original invoice and all maintenance records. The original owner of my 85 308QV knocked off the 75,000 mile service within 6 years of ownership! She's been driven the way Enzo intended her whole life and I continue the tradition to this day. Just turned over 105,000 miles this week! The guys at Ferarri of San Francisco thought that had to be some kind of a record or something?

Up to you, but I'd take a well cared for and respectfully used F-car over a neglected garage queen any day of the week.

As far as the 348, thats the kind of car im looking for. I want a nicely kept higher mileage F-car. That 348 is pretty nicely priced too I guess.

Looking at the inventory they have some other good deals as well.

Mileage on these cars has never bothered me. The more they have, the better they run, the more reliable they are.

Yes thats my SV.

Im not a fan of the chrome wheels, but futhermore the car looks great. Gotta love 348's in black, so stealthy.

Allan: wow, getting rid of it already? your wife isn't easy to please I guess huh? heheh, ah well, I recon if you've got the means, why wouldn't you.
Let us know if the car replacing this (if it happens) is another ferrari.
Enjoy your cars. you've got plenty I believe. (wasnt that your SV on racingflix.com not too long ago?)

Jumping back to topic; I wouldn't be bothered by this kind of milage at all. Drive these car, don't pet them (well atleast don't over-do it). Aslong as it's been maintained well, no sweat.

If you guys are interested in this car, i own it now and would sell it if the price was right. It has had a recent $10,000 service including new double disk clutch and belt changed, paint is perfect with a few chips, interior is in great shape, i just bought tubi bypass pipes for it, new floor mats. It runs great!!! I drove a few cars before this one, this was the tightest and best running car of the bunch. It does not leak one drop of oil. My wife wants a red Ferrari.

I saw this car in June, it looked pretty clean from the outside.
I remember walking into the store (small store maybe 10-12 cars) Not one person came to help me or asked if I needed anything. I was there for over 15 minutes.
If it does help in negotiating they have had the car for a long time

to me, the car looks beautiful! I'd do a good prepurchase inspection, pour over the MX history, drive the car, then GO FOR IT!
78k is not too many miles if you intend to keep the car, drive it and enjoy it. If it's been maintained, why not?

The car looks great and is a good point for a high miles car that has great value, despite its miles. The price is a little over but in general a good buy, pending PPI.

This must be the highest mileage 348 I have seen to date (78k miles). I have to say it looks pretty good considering its mileage.
