You're right Luigi - you wouldn't be able to tell that the 575M in Seans pictures had the FHP, just by looking at it - whereas it was blatantly obvious on the 550M.... The 550s with FHP did look a lot lower - a quick glance of a stock vs FHP 550 would make it clear.....

Yep, the ones on the 360 are called Modular wheels (check out my profile), different from the 19" 575 rims.

It still looks very tall on the wheels.Even with the Fiorano handling pack on this 575.
This is weird because I remember that the 550s I've seen with the FHP were lower than this 575, and by a substantial margin!
Manu: I'm going to ask my dealer to arrange for me to go to Maranello and try out the bucket seats, and finalize the specs of the Stradale, a couple of months before delivery is due. That should be around end of March, beg. of April.Don't take any appointments during that period all right... :-)

I did some checking and learned these are called modular wheels made by Ferrari. They are an option item for the 360 and come in 18".

Ordering aftermarket they retail for about $3100 per wheel. Yuck!

I saw the rims on a 575 at Cauley Ferrari. Honestly, I prefer the originals on a 575 because I think they "look lighter." I especially prefer the originals up front.

But when you're talking a 360 spyder... rims are pretty cool.

Thanks for the pictures. I don't know about the rest of you, but I'm still leaning towards the originals. Maybe in the flesh...

Ernesto,
I will see if I have any decent digital photos and post in my profile. If none, I will photograph the 348 in the snow on a bright N.E day. Should be a good study in contrast.
Please understand, my computer skills are, shall we say, lacking.

I have the Speedline wheels pictured on the 360 spider on my 348 spider. Mine are 18" and the original owner referenced them as Speedline Alesio(sp?) wheels.
Look fantastic!

Justin, the Ferrari split rims wheels on the 575M are different to the ones on the 360M - they look similar until you see them properly - I need better photos...
Each spoke is more "wavy" for want of a better word... they sort of curve out from the centre lock - my God I'm such a GEEK...... erm yes anyhow...
Luigi - I suspect that if you were to ever buy a 575M you would have the FHP fitted which would lower the car substantially enough (especially over the rears actually) to make these wheels look even better....
In fact I really REALLY fancy the car in the pictures....:-)

I wonder whether the wheels are 18"or 19" on this Spider. Anyone know?

Also do any of our sponsors sell them and for what price?

IT's about time they gave a 19" option for the Maranello. The car deserves bigger wheels.
I don't know Manu if it's just the poor picture quality, but Ben has a point, the car looks way too tall!
A feeling I already had with other std wheeled 575s.

No no Ben...it's my pictures that are rubbish - What you can't see is the rubber.
The car looks perfect with the wheels on... TRUST ME :-)

Do my eyes decive me, or does it look like that 575 is sitting about 2" TOO TALL for those wheels/tyre package?

Wheels themselves look good, kind of a cross between F355 and Speedlines.

Best!
Ben.

Thank you for the picture. I asked my dealer about these when I pu tin my order, and he hadn't seem them himself.

I'm still not sure (look like a cross b/w the 355 wheels and the 550 Barchetta rims) - the current 'standard' style is *very* handsome. I guess I'd have to see them in person to switch.

They would look nice on a 360... So would the Enzo's wheels... I'm not to big on the stock 360 wheels... I even like the Barchetta ones more...

Dude, these are nice... Anyone have any of those rims that keep spinning even after you stop the car...? i think those would look SWEET on some Ferraris and even more so, a Lamborghini...

I would rather go for these than ANY other rim on my future 575M....
Anyone agree? The rears have been enlarged to section width 305...
I'll try and get better pics later...

Have a happy new Year fellas! :-)

A must-have on a Rosso 575M.
Sorry about the crap pictures - taken at night - the car was at a rather prestigious Ferrari dealer in Surrey:
