David, Maybe someone can tell him to just cut the b.s. and join FerrariChat and its members will walk him through rebuilding it, then he can share with us, the story of the "needs to be assembled" line... |

Remember the line "to good to be true"? And there HAS to be a great story behind the "needs to be assembled" line.... |

"Needs to be assembled"...? So you buy it and it's shipped to your house in a huge, compartmentalized box, complete with bubble wrap, and you take the pieces out, one by one, then the instructions and you try to put it together as best you can, following the supplied directions which are in a language you nor anyone else you know are even remotely familiar with- hey, this sounds like a christmas present...! |

I haven't seen the add but it does say "All parts available" - does this mean that you can buy the ones that are missing or what? Seems like these could either be a great deal (if you got the price down to around 80k or so) or something to stay away from

I saw that add too, maybe it needs body work?? The picture showed it with a black rim and the stock rim. I would stay away from it , "Needs to be assembled" would indicate it must need some kind of work? |

I've seen this ad for the last month in Autoweek with a picture: 1997 F355 Spider Convertible Red/Tan with black top. 8,000 miles, 6-speed. Runs. Needs to be assembled. All parts available. $89,000. Clean title. (323)225-2975 (CA) Does anyone know anything about this car? |
