Yeah, he is selling all his prized cars. Probably will sell all his "Don Johnson" cars and then buy back "joe blow" models and have a huge gain plus then he will have the "Don Johnson" models again. Times must be tough, Reggie Jackson is parting with some of his cars also. Celeb cars are a joke IMO.

Those are two different cars. The silver 512 is a different lot# than the 1989 Don Johnson TR.
If that is the car from Vice it is a white one, right?

Ben I think that "new direction" means Miami Vice/Nash Bridges residual checks are getting smaller and the phone doesn't ring with new work like it used to.

He's selling his entire collection of cars (including his prized Hemi Cuda Conv from the TV show Nash Bridges), his reasoning for doing this - time to move on with life, take a new direction, something like that.

they failed to say that the 1992 ferrari testarossa listed is actually a "512TR", THE MORONS might get a better response....

As Crockett used to say to Tubbs, "You've got that right, Bubba!"

The pic is kind of grainy but it looks like grey interior. Speed channel will broadcast the auction live on Jan 17 and 18. Barrett-Jackson.com has some of the other Ferrari offerings including this 512TR with a truly tragic interior.

Could that picture be any worse? I can't tell if that's my color (Grigio) with alot of funky light hitting it, or the lighter (Argento?) Silver....

Would anyone buy that car based on THAT picture (and provided data) ALONE?

Its not white or red for that matter. I wonder if the previous celebrity owner is going to add some value.
