i'll be there. we're getting in on thursday around noon. if anyone is interested i have a tee time at LA Victoria on thursday afternoon. there is a service that gats your tee time, picks you up at your hotel, takes you to the course and brings you back. the fee for the whole deal is 119CD. saturday in the beer garden sounds good. we're sitting in sec.24 and staying on Dominique at the ECono Lodge. also there is a 24 hour indoor go kart/ paintball facility in Montreal anybody up for a couple laps? i hope everyone wears their shoes:-)

Hi,
Pat and I will be in Grandstand 31 with the FerrariList crowd. Staying at Hotel du Fort from Thursday to Monday AM. We are bringing the GT4, and showing it in the Ferrari display on Peel Street on the Thursday evening.
Next week I start scouting out restaurants, I am in Mtl 3 days per week.
Newtown is great, good value at CD$140 for two with decent wine. Primadonna is similar price but wine is expensive and the place is crowded. McLeans Pub on Peel has good pub grub and decent Guiness.

I'm afraid I'm in Jay's boat. I've been watching tickets available for awhile and looking at my car, or the pieces of my car. Next year hopefully.

I wish I could join that convoy but the GT4 won't be ready by then. I'm coming from Toronto. Beer garden it is then, Saturday afternoon. Anyone else coming?

Every year, we meet up with a very diverse group at that beer garden outside the track, right outside the metro station. We usually meet up saturday afternoon after track activities, and even though it's kind of crowded, it never takes long to find everyone. This is a group that meets this one time every year, drinks and sings a bunch of French drinking songs that none of us understands. It's a lot of fun. Other than that, we're at Winnie's a lot.

We will be driving up from NJ / NY on Thursday with my TR, a 360 spider, 355 spider, and a 550 Barchetta. Anyone want to join the drive? We are staying at the Queen Elizabeth and have seats in Stand 11.

I've only been there once before, so I am not a pro at the Montreal scene. Jack seems to know his way around well... I'm sure he can come up with a nice place to meet...

Jay,
Great to hear you're going to Montreal. You will LOVE it. Where are you staying? The downtown has lots to do, and the track is great. We've been going for 10 years, and it never gets old. We have a big group from all over that we always meet up with outside the track. The more the merrier.

Well I just ordered my tickets for Montreal GP. I got grandstands at Turn 6. That's pretty much all that was left. This is my first F1 race so I'm sure the experience will be great no matter where I sit. Anyone else going? Should we meet up at the track or maybe for dinner one night? What do you think?
