It's funny, 10 people posted before it was caught. I don't think I would of noticed. I wasn't looking. ;) |

LOL. I just noticed that, I like the pornstar version though I think. I have to admit that I gave my silver prancing horse the boot and put this up, just looks so mean. |

Here's the non-pornstar version for those of you that are using this as your desktop.

You know how when you write something, you look at it so long that sometimes misspelled words look correct? Well...I looked at this picture for so long when I was making it, that, uh, the horse's "manliness" escaped me...until I was showing it to my wife last night, and she started giggling. I guess I'll need to post a "PG" version! |

Oh man I just noticed what Erich was so kind to point out to us. I spent the last 5 minutes with my hand over my mouth trying not to laugh so hard everyone in the office could hear me. Damn I found that funny. |

I like it. Especially how you emphasized that it's a male horse |

Wow, thanks for all of the compliments! Magoo- The idea for this started awhile ago. 3 or 4 weeks ago there was a thread on great garages. In that thread was a picture of someone's garage with a black metal cutout of a prancing horse with a red light behind it (and a 308 in the garage also, I think) . I thought it was cool, but figured it would look more powerful if something like that were on a black background (rather than a beige garage wall) and executed larger in the picture. So, I mocked it up in Photoshop real quick, and then set it aside. The other day I ran across some pictures out of the Ferrari factory F50 brochure. However, the car was in red on a poor background. I thought it would look much better in black on black background. The addition of the glowing horse seemed like a natural addition. Giorgio- Sorry to dissappoint, but that isn't a honest black F50. It's actually a red one from a Ferrari brochure, and I just did some intense color channel manipulation on it. However, if you are looking for info on black F50's, there was a mention of one in an article in the April 2002 edition (#36) of Forza magazine. Look for the article on page 56. I'm halfway tempted to try and set up a photo shoot with an F50 and an F40 and see if I can get some usable images to create a few posters to sell. This shot could be redone nicely in high resolution. ~Chris |

Hi everybody, I am rather new here and I wanted to say that this desktop image is very beautiful. I saw various pictures of a black F50 during US events. Does any body know who the owner is and maybe even the SN. |

I had a bunch of time while I was restoring a database here at work, so I decided to create a new desktop image for myself. Thought I would share it with anybody else that wanted a new one also.
