nope, 'tis in my garage, waiting for spring. a few interesting offers, including a trade for a real daytona spider that had suffered a small fire (nothing to worry about, i was assured) and an early race car located in Europe, which would have involved my car and many Euros to boot. Prices have plummeted on the barchetta, so at this point i am holding on to it, but would still sell if i got a decent offer. (Love the car, hate the top, my only real complaint). |

I have averaged about 5k miles a year (April or May thru Nov.) for the past several years with a couple of exceptions : put 10k miles on a BBi in less than a year, including a solo road trip from NYC to Fla; also, put several thousand miles on my first Maranello within a couple weeks; drove it to Maine and back to NY the day after i got it, then put it in the Forza Mille (where it broke down: notorious coolant hose under plenum problem), only to put it back on the road a couple days later, to clock another few thousand miles in a couple more weeks. I think i put close to four thousand miles on that car in as many weeks, counting the time the car was in the shop to fix the cooling hose.Oh, yeah, and after that i shipped it to California, to drive it up and down the PCH. So, before winter really set in, from Oct. to Dec., i put close to 10k miles on that car. |

3950 trouble-free/memorable miles on the 308QV from 5/2002 to 12/2002. Not bad considering she didn't enter the family garage until May 2002. |

Don't know but not very far. I'd estimate only around 1000 miles, maybe a little more. Two huge factors: 1) Broke my hip in a cycling accident in Feb 2002 and didn't have the strength to push the clutch let alone the doctor's permission to drive a manual. Actually borrowed my folks' minivan rather than try to the softer clutched Saturn. That cost me close to 3 months. 2) Spent Sept-Dec in Boston without the car. |

7000 miles in my Daytona from oct 01 until oct 02. For this year my goal is 8000 miles. In the first 30 years it averaged less than 1300 miles/year. I know this sounds like a typical case of roll back. The first 15 years it drove 36.000 miles and was restored and revised in 1989. In the next 15 years it drove only 6000 miles, with a virtual standstill for the 10 years after the peak of the market. This much I have been able to find back in its incomplete history. However, now that it is driven a lot it gets better and better. |

Bought my 308QV in October 2001. From 10/01 to 12/01, drove 1156 miles. From 1/02 to 12/02, drove 2274 miles. Unfortunately for 2002, I was away from the car for 3 months of prime drive time...March through May! |

Last year I kept careful track of miles I drove Facrs. Would like to see an informal survey of other members. Estimates are fine. Here's mine: 1985 308 GTB 2586 (sold in July) 1989 328 GTB 3832 Total 6418 I think this is about average for me. Dave |
