Guys...it has come to my attention that the brakes squeal on the 550/575's. You should get together as a group, and approach a brake pad manufacturer, and solve this issue. I'm sure that Performance Friction, or Power Pad (I have no affiliation with either of them, but I do use their pads on my racecar) will be happy to help you out with your problem. I would presume that all they would need is an old backing plate (for use as a template), and they will be able to help you with the type of compound which is most suitable. It is NOT rocket science, and is easily remidied. Approaching them as a group will bring the price down considerably. I'm would bet that in the end, it would be much less expensive than the pads that Ferrari supplies, which you all know...squeal! |
