If you want to spend a lot of time checking out the classifieds of newspapers, you can try:

FML stinks.....Dupont Registery stinks......all brokers/dealers
looking for the stupid/rich/uninformed buyer to pay absurdly high prices. Can't imagine many cars get sold through those venues. Hard work, patience, networking, Ferrari Club of America News Bulletin, all better methods. The proof in this is that you will not see brokers/dealers advertising in an club bulletin such as the FCA News Bulletin. They know it is much harder to find a stupid buyer who is a true enthusiast.

thanks for all the help; looks like most ads are going to be broker/dealer no matter where you look.

Pick up a copy of this months DuPont Registry Magazine. There are a •••• load of Ferraris in there this month. I guess all the Dot com people are unloading.

may be wise to wait another few months. I know, it is hard but i think the prices will come down in the next months. Once the first Spider 360 have been delivered these will crumble and then the 355 will come down as well.

Call Gold Key Auto in Ft. Lauderdale. They have a yellow black 355 6 speed 1997 for $ 109,500 advertised.. I bought a car 2 years from them and things went okay. Make sure to runa carfax report.

If you are interested I would take a look at the car for you, if you are too far away.

Your local chapter of Ferrari club of america has a newsletter with ads in your area. Also in the library get Hemmings which has pages of ferraris for sale.Autoweek is also occasionally a good source.

i'm trying to buy my first ferrari-a 1999 red/tan or black 355 spyder 6-speed with low miles; i subscribe to ferrari market letter, but it appears that the cars listed are mostly from dealers or brokers; how can i find private sellers on the internet or elsewhere?
