Horsefly: That's what happened to the still-born IPO of the Mustang Ranch. (Maybe 'still-born' is a bad choice of words for that example??)

Isn't there a minimum amount that one must purchase? Otherwise, a million people would like to buy 1 share just to get a certificate. That would seem to be a logistical and expensive nightmare to coordinate mailing actual certificates to people with only one share.

Drew

I'm with you, a Ferrari share certificate on the wall is a must!

Yeah, I'll definitely ask for the certificate. It'll probably be great looking, too.

That's really Cool. I'll definately add some to my portfolio. However, since I own an Independent Shop I wonder if maybe I should 'short' the shares first?

I'm sure you've all seen the commercial where the little league coach thinks a son' father owns Nike or the waiter thinks his customer owns EMI.

Check this out: "Ferrari boss Luca di Montezemolo, in Detroit for the North American International Automobile Show, has revealed that Ferrari will list its shares on the stock exchange later this year."

Full article here: /www.grandprix.com/ns/ns07554.html

Well I don't know about this investment wise, but I think I am going to buy at least a couple of shares just so I can say "I own Ferrari" and to have them send the stock certificate (yes I know it will cost more than just being held in street name) so I can frame it and put it in may garage.

Regards,

Drew
