I have seen pictures from the Nürburgring gatherings. They park the cars in neat shapes- forming a horse or spelling "ENZO" and stuff. I have an overhead shot on the wall behind my desk that I like to admire. I've counted well over 100 cars. I can pick out the F40s- 15 of them which is an amazing number of F40s in one place. |

Mark, actually there are many 348/F355 GTS's with black tops. There were also F355's with carbon fiber tops from the factory, as I found out recently. It has become popular apparently to get these tops painted so perhaps this is what you're seeing, though there were also F355 factory painted tops for the US in the later models I believe. Our car has a textured black top like the one you are referring to, though we have toyed with the idea of getting it painted. P.S.- By the way, that pic is awsome...lovely! |

Wow! I have never seen 348 and 355 with black targa tops like the 308's LOOKS GOOD! What's the deal? Euro gets black top and US get body colored targa tops? |
